Floody floody

The freak rainstorm last Monday caused the stairs at Van Ness Station to become waterfalls, the sewers on Folsom Street to become geysers, and the gallery where all our Open Studios artists' work was displayed to become an indoor swimming pool. The flood knocked over sculpture and ruined basically everything in stencil artist Adam 5100 and photographer Paul O'Valle's studio. I especially feel for Adam, who along with our landlord Kevin appeared on the Channel 5 News, because he lost thousands of hours of meticulous work to an hour of rain (and a sea of waste). Go to www.adam5100.com to see his work.
