I never thought I would sink so low! Meanwhile, back in the real world, I have some paintings up at City Art Gallery this month, at 828 Valencia (between 19th & 20th Street) in San Francisco. City Art is open Wed. - Sun. noon - nine and the show runs through the last Saturday of September, the 25th, coming down on the afternoon of the 26th. As Twitter says, I am showing small paintings of cute camper vans and large paintings of cool musicians. cityartgallery.org/showing.html I am getting ready for Fall Open Studios, at Workspace Limited at 2150 Folsom Street (between 17th and 18th) San Francisco. That will be Saturday and Sunday October 9 - 10 from 11am - 6pm with a preview event Friday October 8 from 7 - 10pm. The gallery downstairs will be curated by Nathan Larramendy, associate director of the Catharine Clark Gallery. Send your postal address if you'd like to be on my mailing list. And don't miss the SF Open Studios Exhibition at SomArts Gallery, 934 Brannan St. (between 8th & 9th). It will be open to the public October 6 through 24. Gallery hours are Wednesday - Friday noon - 4pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am - 5pm. Each participating Open Studios artist has one piece in this show, so you can go through the hundreds of works of art with your guide and mark the studios you would like to visit. http://artspan.org/user/4529
